Job Summary
Provide advice and coaching to site/operational managers on risk identification, assessment, and control within the Integrated Risk Management Systems. Engage with front-line personnel through formal audits and informal interactions to demonstrate leadership. Identify and report conformance levels to internal systems while supporting continuous improvement. Assist with training delivery, record keeping for employee and contractor competencies, and lead investigations into HSE incidents. Analyze data to recommend actions on non-compliance, raise events in the HSEQ database, and ensure timely closure of gaps. Support site leaders in HSEQ meetings and assist WorkCover Vic with injured personnel rehabilitation. Requires 2+ years in WHS/Environment coordination, ability to travel across the region, and full Australian work rights.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- A minimum of 2 years' dedicated experience in WHS/Environment co-ordination or similar role in a high-risk industry
- The capability to influence varying levels of internal and external stakeholders and deliver transformational change within a complex business environment
- Be reliable with the ability to work independently and autonomously
- Have a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and desire to work with others in a team environment to achieve personal and team goals that are aligned to National objectives
- Be a confident user of the Microsoft Office suite of programs and database systems
- Full Australian work rights

- Be able to travel between sites in all parts of the region during the working week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the quarry industry
- Certificate 4 or above in OHS / WHS
- Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment
- Lead Auditor experience and Qualification
- ICAM Lead Investigator experience and qualification
- SAP experience
