HSE Technician II - Night Shift

Job Summary
Conduct routine workplace inspections, environmental assessments, and Job Hazard Analyses to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance. Assist with incident investigations, collect data for safety committee reporting, and support corrective action tracking. Deliver new employee orientations and targeted safety training programs while maintaining safety equipment inventories and documentation. Partner with leaders to implement continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen the site's proactive safety culture. Perform work across manufacturing areas, laboratories, and clean rooms with minimal local travel within Salt Lake City.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 years of HSE experience
- At least 3 years performing OSHA-related HSE duties in a manufacturing environment
- Experience developing, preparing, and delivering training presentations to individuals and groups
- Experience conducting workplace safety inspections, investigations, and risk assessments
- Valid Utah driver's license

- Experience supporting environmental compliance programs
- Familiarity with behavioral-based safety principles
- Experience working in manufacturing, laboratory, clean room, or regulated environments
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices
- Understanding of environmental compliance principles and standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and organizational levels
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
- Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct
