Job Summary
Lead safety leadership efforts by enforcing OSHA standards, DOT compliance, and client policies while monitoring chemical, physical, and biological hazards. Investigate accidents, injuries, and workplace complaints, then recommend improvements to processes, designs, and equipment to minimize hazardous potential. Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs through auditing, behavior-based initiatives, and incident reporting. Provide technical guidance on regulatory interpretation and procedure development for diverse HSE issues. Requires 3+ years of upstream HSE experience, relevant certifications, and ability to work in temperature extremes, climb heights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced level, typically 5–7 years of experience
- 3+ years of upstream HSE experience
- 3+ years of experience with HSE Management Systems
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- ASP, CSP, CIH, or other certifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety, Environmental Sciences, related field or foreign equivalent
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or as an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
- Willing and able to perform the following (with or without reasonable accommodation): Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions
- Willing and able to perform the following (with or without reasonable accommodation): Work in several different geographic locations every day
- Willing and able to perform the following (with or without reasonable accommodation): Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Willing and able to perform the following (with or without reasonable accommodation): Climb heights up to 24 feet
- Willing and able to perform the following (with or without reasonable accommodation): Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull
- Willing and able to perform the following (with or without reasonable accommodation): Work weekends and be on call
