Job Summary
Partner with site leadership to implement and sustain a proactive safety culture aligned with corporate HSE standards. Execute advanced programs beyond regulatory compliance to drive measurable improvements in workplace safety and risk mitigation. Lead site assessments tied to QHSE audits, deliver Job Safety Analyses, and facilitate training programs to build capability across all levels. Maintain a strong shop floor presence of approximately 50% to reinforce safety practices and engage employees directly. Collaborate cross-functionally to influence safe behaviors and support the adoption of Stop Work Authority initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Fire Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment roles
- Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably heavy manufacturing or construction-related settings
- HSE certification or equivalent credentials
- Strong knowledge of HSE systems and tools
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs across diverse audiences
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of HSE experience in complex industrial environments
- Experience with safety software platforms such as VelocityEHS, MSDS Online, or similar systems
- Exposure to molding or specialized manufacturing processes
