Job Summary
HSE Specialist responsible for implementing and overseeing company HSE programs, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and training effectiveness. Provide expert guidance to site management on all HSE matters, analyze data to identify and address HSE risks, manage audits and inspections, create and update HSE procedures (permits, hazard communication, PPE, etc.), manage the HSE training program, lead incident investigations using RCA and 5-Whys, drive sustainability initiatives to meet company goals, and contribute to annual HSE budgets and monitor performance against targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing HSE compliance
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proven track record of success in HSE program development and implementation
