Job Summary
Provide direct HSE advice and support to operational management to ensure improvements are implemented. Develop practical processes that reduce risks and coordinate facility leadership in maintaining the EPS Global HSE Management System. Prepare health and safety plans, monitor Key Performance Indicators, and conduct monthly communication meetings to drive initiatives. Assess legislative requirements and implement policies to ensure compliance, while assisting in the delivery of various trainings. Maintain working knowledge of industry developments and carry out other duties as business requirements dictate.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to identify hazards, evaluate the risk and implement suitable protection controls
- Can prioritize work based on risk
- Ability to develop and execute strategic planning with minimal supervision
- Able to create practical business processes, such as safe systems of work
- A strong sense of customer focus (internal/external)
- An honest team player who collaborates with peers to solve problems
- Committed to self-improvement and development through the role to achieve career goals
- Is known to consistently adhere to ethical principles and expects others to follow suit
- Maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation and any related industry developments
