Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee implementation of all Health & Safety programs to ensure facilities meet relevant standards and regulations. Conduct hazards and aspects assessments, lead investigations into non-conformances, and drive corrective actions to eliminate root causes. Develop technical guidance programs to identify physical hazards, maintain incident reporting systems, and prepare legal and internal reports. Build HSE capabilities for site employees through skill matrices, campaigns, and culture transformation initiatives. Provide HSE expertise for new projects and change management activities while participating in root cause analysis for onsite incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Environmental Health and Safety
- Must have completed Environmental Health and Safety training in areas such as OSHA, EPA, DNREC
- Experience in safety, and/or environmental technical standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding and knowledge of regulatory reports and compliances
- Experience with ISO
- Degree in Safety - Health - Environment field or related technical field
- At least 3+ years of working experience in HSE Management
- Working experience in HSE FMCG Manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of legal requirement and proficiency in applying them to manufacturing
- Practical experience of local HSE priorities, e.g. machinery safety, process safety, ergonomics, health, contractor management, truck loading and unloading and vehicle safety, energy, waste and water management
- Knowledge and demonstrated capabilities in ISO 14001
- Demonstrated leadership capability in an operational environment
- Working in, and leading, cross-functional teams
- Leading major change to improve performance in different HSE areas
- Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills in both English and Vietnamese
- Strong business acumen and organization agility
- Good computer skills in MS Office, PowerBI, PowerApp, general researching skill using A.I. tools
