HSE Specialist

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management systems in accordance with company policies, national regulations, and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits; investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement preventive actions; deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels; monitor HSE performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for management. Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors, evaluate contractor safety plans, ensure adherence to HSE standards, and stay updated on new regulations and best practices. Participate in emergency response planning and drills; ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines; fluency in English is required with Japanese proficiency a plus.
