Job Summary
Lead Health, Safety, and Environmental operations across three co-located Quick Response Centers at the Baton Rouge campus, managing a team of approximately 150 personnel. Spend daily time on the manufacturing floor building relationships across machining, assembly, and test areas while translating corporate policies into actionable site-specific work instructions. Proactively identify equipment and facility opportunities, source vendor solutions, and drive corrective projects from risk identification to final implementation. Manage campus audit readiness, maintain regulatory documentation, conduct incident root-cause investigations, and implement preventive measures to support site leadership in achieving operational targets safely.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of progressive HSE coordination, supervision, or site management experience in industrial manufacturing, machining, heavy equipment, or service shop environments
- BS degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience
- Solid understanding of OSHA, EPA, and local compliance standards
- Experience translating corporate frameworks into site-level procedures

- Demonstrated active floor presence with a track record of practical problem-solving and building positive rapport with front-line personnel
- High degree of personal drive; able to independently manage projects from risk identification to final vendor implementation without needing direct oversight
