Job Summary
HSE/Safety Intern supports the HSE Specialist and plant team to advance the Life Critical Program (LCP). Responsibilities include assisting with safety data collection and analysis from the floor, writing Safety Work Instructions (SWIs), developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and contributing to 5S and safety-culture initiatives. The role emphasizes critical thinking, proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and collaboration with Supervisors, Engineers, and Millwrights to prevent incidents. Local to Texas; no travel required; paid internship with potential for part-time/full-time continuation.
Required Qualifications
- Junior or Senior specializing in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health and Sustainability, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
