Job Summary
HSE & Operations Support Coordinator reports to the Facility Coordinator and supports shore base operations at the RCS Fourchon facility. Works closely with the Dockside Superintendents, Cleaning Technicians and Water Treatment Operators to understand and address safety, health and environmental issues. Responsible for implementing company safety expectations, identifying hazards and risks, conducting audits and inspections, investigating workplace accidents/incidents, and providing compliance and safety solutions. This is a hands-on role that serves as a resource for shore base operations with a 7-on/7-off schedule. Requires strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of OSHA, EPA/LDEQ, and USCG regulations; ability to lead and solve problems while coordinating multiple projects and maintaining a professional appearance. Location: Golden Meadow, LA (US), onsite at the shore base facility.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Good verbal, communication and writing skills
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA/LDEQ, and USCG
- Ability to effectively present information, communicate with, and respond to questions and complaints from co-workers, management, and customers
- Demonstrated people and leadership skills including conflict resolution, team building and excellent communication skills
- Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly and must also be able to work well in teams to coordinate various special projects while being enthusiastic and displaying a positive attitude
