Job Summary
Manage workplace safety, health, security, and environmental compliance by implementing industrial hygiene and occupational health programs per local regulations. Coordinate site inspections, lead training for employees and contractors, and conduct thorough incident investigations with corrective actions. Prepare HSE data dashboards for periodic submissions, review risk assessments, and ensure strict adherence to safety policies and statutory requirements. Monitor corrective actions for non-conformities and support preparedness drills with emergency equipment verification. Analyze data trends to propose tech-driven safety improvements and integrate safe shutdown procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Min Diploma in Health, Safety and Environmental or related discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM
- Strong grasp of Singapore legal HSE requirements
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments
- Ability to lead HSE training, risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations
- Ability to analyze incident and monitoring data trends to inform safety improvements
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement
- Self-driven, detail-oriented and ability to work independently and part of a team
- Develop Risk Management Implementation Plans
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Assisting sites to implement site safety plans
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with MHI implementation and assessment (preferably, not necessary)
- Preferably certified as Confined Space Assessor and Work-at-Height Manager
