HSE Night Shift Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead all night shift construction activities, supervising field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment operators across multiple work fronts while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project schedules. Conduct daily inspections, safety observations, toolbox talks, and audits to identify hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies before work begins. Coordinate shift handovers, crew assignments, and daily work plans with the Construction Superintendent, reviewing Job Hazard Analyses and verifying permits for high-risk tasks. Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions while maintaining visible leadership through regular crew engagement. Complete daily shift reports, progress tracking, and workforce documentation to monitor productivity and resource utilization. Operate on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off FIFO rotation in a camp environment within Wells, BC.
Required Qualifications

- extensive experience in mining, construction, or heavy civil environments
