Job Summary
Act as the Single Point of Contact for Health, Safety, and Environment matters with the client, communicating regularly about site conditions and ensuring contractual HSE expectations are met. Lead one or more team members to implement policies, conduct site inspections, and manage safety rounds while coaching workers on critical topics. Monitor implementation of procedures, follow up on client audits for closure, and perform proactive audits to continuously improve standards. Communicate directly with subcontractors to ensure compliance with all requirements and serve as the bridge between the QHSSE team, execution team, and client.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Dutch and French language
- Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental management, safety management, construction, mechanics, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience as a Prevention Advisor (HSE professional)
- Good command of English
- Ability to set priorities and plan efficiently to meet deadlines
- Assertiveness and confidence to speak up and investigate unsafe situations
- Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions on site
