Job Summary
HSE Manager responsible for enabling Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) functions across Syntegon UK sites in Bristol and Derby, providing internal services to ensure legal compliance and adherence to internal regulations. The role involves implementing Syntegon Group HSE directives in line with UK regulations, traveling between Bristol (Manufacturing) and Derby (Service), advising on regulatory compliance, coordinating EHS central functions, managing energy and KPI reporting, maintaining HSE policies and training programs, conducting inspections and audits, investigating incidents, and driving continuous improvement of HSE management systems. Requires HSE qualification/certification, several years of experience, travel ability, and strong communication and technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in the HSE/EHS area
- HSE qualification/certification
- Analytic skills, especially for legal principles and context
- Ability to write clear, legal recommendations and instructions
- Good communication skills
- Fundamental technical knowledge in special machine construction
- Experienced in risk management
- Proficient in office standard software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Action oriented, quick learner, ambitious; has experience in driving change and delivering results
- Valid passport and ability to travel
- Driving license
- Valid work permit to allow employment in UK
