Job Summary

Lead Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) activities across the site, developing and directing programs to ensure regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and continuous performance improvements. Advise site management on HSE requirements, establish priorities for project execution, and maintain a safe, compliant environment by enforcing policies and driving a positive safety culture. Manage risk assessments and safe systems of work, coordinate incident investigations and corrective actions, and lead audits and the reporting of HSE performance data and KPIs. Deliver site-focused HSE training and inductions, support root-ccause analysis and problem-solving initiatives, and collaborate with Operations and key stakeholders to drive continual improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency. Requires NEBOSH Certification and detailed knowledge of UK HSE regulations; extensive leadership experience in manufacturing, ideally across multiple sites.

Required Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Certification
  • detailed knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulations
  • Safety leadership experience including assuring compliance to statutory requirements and liaison with governing bodies
  • Significant HSE management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally in multi-site or multi product stream environment.
