Job Summary
Lead the Chemical Site HSE & PS program across the petrochemical manufacturing plant, initially focusing on construction-phase safety (heavy lifts, hot work, work at height, fire safety) and regulatory compliance, then assuming long-term responsibility for overall HSE and process safety performance, driving continuous improvement, implementing HSE and process safety management systems, performing risk assessments (HAZOP, FMEA), ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture at the site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in HSE and process safety management in the chemical or manufacturing industry
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and process safety regulations
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, or equivalent) preferred
