Job Summary
Oversee HSE programs ensuring consistency, compliance, and risk mitigation at the Conroe facility. Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 regulations by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal laws. Implement industry-recognized safety certifications, develop employee training programs, and champion 5S principles to drive workplace organization and safety culture improvements. Develop risk assessments, emergency response plans, and corrective action strategies while conducting internal audits, site inspections, and compliance reviews. Utilize safety metrics and KPIs to measure performance and implement proactive measures. Partner with Operations, HR, and Facilities teams to integrate best practices into daily workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Five plus years in an HSE role
- Understanding of OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, ANSI, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations
- Excellent leadership, training, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to assess risks, analyze trends, and implement data-driven solutions
- Proficiency in HSE management software, incident tracking tools, and data reporting platforms
- Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check
- Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 25 lbs. or more
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk for four plus hours at a time
Desired Qualifications
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager), or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of HSE leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments
- Proven track record of implementing and sustaining a 5S culture and workplace organization improvements
