Job Summary
HSE Manager responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental programs across North America (Canada/USA) with up to 50% travel. Lead development and maintenance of safety policies and training plans, ensure compliance with corporate standards, liaise with government agencies and external stakeholders, manage budgets for HSE projects, and coach North America HSE teams to sustain a strong safety culture. Requires 7-10 years of HSE experience in continuous manufacturing, strong leadership, regulatory knowledge (OSHA, CSA, ANSI), project management, and effective communication with both internal teams and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years HSE experience in a continuous manufacturing environment with a proven track record of measurable results
- Experience in compliance and process auditing
- Project management experience from inception, planning to completion
- Working knowledge of provincial occupational health and safety legislation across Canada and U.S. OSHA standards, workers compensation legislation, Fire Code and CSA and ANSI standards
- Excellent people leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and change management
