Job Summary
Advise senior construction site representatives on establishing and managing ESHARP Management and Parsons SH&E processes to identify and control hazards. Develop site-specific work plans, compliance programs, and training plans conforming to regulations and client requirements. Audit projects against corporate standards to detect hazards, submit written reports, and implement incident investigation and root cause analysis protocols. Supervise emergency response teams during incidents and represent management during regulatory and insurance inspections. Review risk assessments for upcoming work and provide technical assistance to safety planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in safety, health and environmental/loss prevention or any relevant Engineering Disciplines from an accredited university
- Recognized OSH education, certifications (e.g NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6/7 etc.)
- ISO 45001:2018 Lead auditor certificate
- Extensive knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi health and safety regulations and reporting procedures including ADOSH-SF (Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health – System Framework)
- Minimum 15+ years of construction safety management experience in middle east region out of which at least 5 years shall be as OSH Manager on Construction Supervision or Project management role with reputed consultants
- OSH management experience in both Infrastructure and Buildings construction projects
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication and report writing skills
- Ability to perform in a supervisory/managerial capacity
