Job Summary
Design, implement, and coordinate all environmental, health, and safety programs for the Division, providing technical direction to senior management on critical HSE decisions. Conduct hazard and risk assessments, develop new recommendations, and oversee site visits and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards. Direct the HSE Department, manage annual budget recommendations, and supervise training programs to promote safe practices. Assist in investigating project incidents, implementing corrective actions, and communicating lessons learned across the Company. Provide regular reports to the Top Management Team and participate in safety meetings and industry conferences.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or BSc or Diploma in Engineering with higher degree in safety
- Must have worked in Manufacturing organizations or engineering organizations where the hazards are very high
- min 12-15 yrs exp in mid size organization
- preferably in the Crane Manufacturing or Engineering Industry
- performed in managerial capability at least for 2 years
- Strong Problem identification skills
- Reasoning ability
- Awareness on EHS
- Domain Knowledge
- Problem Solving
- Knowledge of OHSAS 18000:2007 & ISO 14001
- Environment Management
- Fire Fighting
- Certification in Industrial Safety
- Proficiency in the use of common software packages including Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel, Power Point
Desired Qualifications
- Working Knowledge of ERP Software
