HSE MANAGER

Job Summary
The HSE Manager will lead the development and implementation of HSE management systems including site-specific plans and programs, provide technical and behavioral leadership, develop and conduct HSE training, assist in risk evaluation and mediation, and communicate effectively with project management and staff. The role requires providing direction for employees, reporting on the project's HSE culture and performance, and leading incident investigations. Candidates should have a strong background in construction HSE, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of safety management practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of construction HSE experience
- At least two years in an HSE leadership role
- Experience with craft and work activities on projects
- Capable of providing HSE management for midsize to large projects (≤750 employees)
- Ability to manage teams of 3-10 HSE professionals
- Thorough understanding of construction work practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Desired Qualifications
- CHST, OHST, ASP (BCSP), CSD (NASP), or BS of OSH
- On path to obtain CSP or SMS (BCSP), or MSP (NASP)
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge of OSHA standards and any other applicable regulations
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
