Job Summary
Develop and implement the site's EHS strategy and improvement plans aligned with global objectives. Drive safety culture through leadership coaching, engagement, and behavioral change initiatives while ensuring robust risk assessment processes using the hierarchy of controls. Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation; lead incident investigations to implement corrective actions; and analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement. Manage ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems, deliver training programs, and prioritize EHS-related investment proposals. This role supports Aliaxis' "Growth with Purpose" strategy to reduce carbon in plants and increase recycled content in products across operations in over 40 countries.
Required Qualifications
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety
- Significant experience in an EHS leadership role within manufacturing, industrial or operational environments
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk management and best practice
- Experience implementing and managing ISO 45001 management systems
- Demonstrated success in driving behavioural and cultural change
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading teams and developing people
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
