Job Summary
Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with Egyptian regulations and international standards. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, hazard analyses, and incident investigations to identify dangers, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Perform regular safety audits, inspections, and training programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders. Manage HSE documentation, reporting systems, and budgets while serving as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors. Monitor performance metrics and collaborate with operational teams to integrate safety requirements into daily activities. Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, OHSAS, and Egyptian labor laws through continuous analysis and improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in HSE management or a related field
- Proven leadership experience managing HSE teams or programs within a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor laws and international HSE standards (ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001)
- Expertise in risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation methodologies
- Proficiency with HSE management systems, incident reporting software, and audit tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex safety data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver HSE training programs
- Experience with safety auditing and compliance documentation
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple HSE initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence organizational culture
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
- Professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent recognized qualification
