Job Summary
HSE Engineering Co-Op at IKO Industries in Milton, Ontario. 8- or 12-month contract with a Fall 2026 start. Responsibilities include shadowing the Maintenance Manager to create SOPs and SWIs, assisting the Reliability Engineer with a review of PM/PdM maintenance activities, optimizing spare parts in support of PM/PdM tasks, assisting in preparation of drawings and modeling for projects, coordinating with Millwrights and Electricians to standardize a PM template and update drawings, and contributing to other engineering projects to support plant operations. Hours are Monday through Friday (40 hours, day shift). Wage: $23.50/hour to $26.50/hour. The role emphasizes health and safety, plant maintenance, and collaboration within a manufacturing environment. Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary engineering program.
- New engineering graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Prefer experience with CMMS/Computerized Maintenance Management System (e.g., Maximo).
- Able to read and interpret drawings; proficiency in AutoCAD is an asset.
- Critical thinking skills and high level of organization.
- Troubleshooting capability.
