HSE Engineer - HV Transmission & Substation

Job Summary
Conduct health, safety, and environment (HSE) oversight for workforce, public, and surrounding areas during construction and commissioning of overhead and underground power lines. Perform risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and execute site internal auditing per SEC procedures. Ensure compliance with SEC ISO 45001-2018 5 STAR safety standards and relevant HSE regulations for high-voltage transmission projects. This role supports the development of critical infrastructure in Saudi Arabia within a fast-paced environment. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in safety or related engineering fields, possess at least five years of HSE experience on construction projects, and maintain a valid Saudi driving license and SCE membership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in safety engineering, industrial engineering, occupational safety and health, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles on construction projects, preferably in the power line industry
- Thorough understanding of relevant HSE regulations and best practices in OHL/UG construction
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation procedures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH)
- Knowledge of conducting Site Internal Auditing as per SEC Procedure
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and HSE documentation software
- Valid Saudi driving license
- Valid SCE membership
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of working with SEC ISO 45001-2018 5 STAR safety is preferable
