HSE Coordinator - Water Infrastructure

Job Summary
Conduct project-specific safety orientations for all workers and visitors prior to work commencement and ensure emergency response plans are communicated. Confirm equipment inspections are completed, reports prepared, and deficiencies addressed, while verifying controlled products have current SDS/MSDS documentation. Review incident reports and maintain monthly statistics to identify trends, providing leading and lagging safety indicators to leadership. Assist in Behavior-Based Safety assessments and ensure emergency documents are posted and communicated. Attend and actively participate in HSE meetings to collaborate with operations on continuous improvement of day-to-day HSE practices. This role supports multiple projects in a floating capacity within the Infrastructure Division, reporting to the Regional HSE Manager.
Required Qualifications
- NCSO Certificate or higher
- Health & Safety certification or designation
- Strong understanding of HSE Management Systems
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and online reporting tools
- Knowledge of general constructability
- 2–5 years in safety or a related field
- Hands-on experience in inspections
- Hands-on experience in reporting
- Hands-on experience in compliance
