Job Summary
Conduct routine site safety inspections and safety walks to identify unsafe acts, conditions, hazards, and potential risks. Monitor compliance with approved Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analyses, Method Statements, and Permit to Work requirements for high-risk activities including work at height, excavation, and hot work. Verify PPE usage, check housekeeping and emergency facilities, and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately to the HSE team. Assist with incident investigations, maintain HSE documentation, and support corrective action follow-up. Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and emergency drills while promoting a Zero Harm approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of relevant HSE experience
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, civil, airport, or large-scale development projects
- Basic practical knowledge of construction site safety requirements
- Experience conducting site inspections and monitoring safe work practices
- Good understanding of risk assessments, method statements, PPE requirements, and basic HSE procedures
- Airport / airside project experience
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent
- IOSH Managing Safely
- OSHA safety training
- First Aid / CPR certification
- Basic fire safety and emergency response training
- ISO 45001 awareness training
