Job Summary
Champion the company's H.S.E.&T program by providing field and facility support within the designated area of responsibility. Conduct, lead, and review regular inspections and audits on jobsites and facilities to integrate non-compliance issues into corrective and preventative action plans. Ensure all activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company standards while advising local management to foster a positive safety culture. Lead safety committees and emergency action teams, coordinating evacuation drills and maintaining emergency response plans. Perform incident investigations to determine root causes, implement sustainable CAPA measures, and ensure accurate reporting into the Incident Management System. Coordinate with relevant authorities and partners with HSE Operations Management to outline goals and deliverables. Maintain compliance with environmental, chemical, and waste management regulations.
Required Qualifications
- HSE skills and knowledge
- HSEMS processes
- Field level support on remote work-sites
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations (local, state, federal) and CES Standards, SOPs, Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions
- Ability to conduct, lead and review regular inspections/audits
- Ability to determine Root Cause Analysis
- Ability to implement sustainable CAPA measures
- Ability to enter incidents into the company's Incident Management System
- Ability to coordinate and train for Emergency Preparedness (evacuation drills)
- Knowledge of environmental, chemical, waste management, and permit regulations
- Ability to maintain the location(s) emergency response and other required plans
- Ability to ensure all required HSE reporting is completed timely and accurately
- Ability to ensure all HSE training for the designated location(s) maintains compliance with company and customer percentage completion targets
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in making recommendations to local management teams and HSE Operations Management
- Ability to perform general labor, as necessary
- Ability to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan
