Job Summary
HSE & CI Engineer at Alkegen focusing on health and safety risk evaluation and control for industrial settings. Responsibilities include evaluating workplace exposure to physical and chemical hazards (respirable fiber, inhalable dust, organic vapors, welding fume, thermal exposure), conducting LEV control-system surveys, performing COSHH assessments, communicating health and safety information to employees and external stakeholders, collaborating with trade organizations on joint safety programs, supporting product research for safer chemical substitutions or formulations, conducting periodic site compliance audits, and preparing summary reports for CFAB. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and strong risk management, communication, and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Risk Management, Safety, Engineering, Material Science, Toxicology, Environmental Law) or textile master craftsman/technician
- Proven ability to execute risk management initiatives and long-term projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
