Job Summary
Facilitate HSE risk assessments and coordinate preventive measures against identified hazards across your assigned area. Support the HSE Manager in reporting progress on group-level HSE objectives and KPIs while leading incident investigations to drive continuous improvement through shared lessons learned. Develop and execute HSE-related projects, establishing clear objectives and monitoring progress to support cultural transformation via behavior change initiatives. Partner with line managers, supervisors, and external stakeholders including customers and regulators to raise awareness of HSE performance and gain commitment to continuous improvement. This onsite role within ABB's Electrification Service Division focuses on improving Health, Safety, and Environment performance in Moorebank while cultivating a high-performance culture rooted in safety and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in HSE roles
- preferably within manufacturing, service, or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
- including familiarity with ISO 45001
- local workplace health and safety legislation
- and risk management frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in incident investigation
- root cause analysis
- and corrective action planning
- with the ability to translate findings into actionable improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- with the ability to influence across organizational levels
- and build consensus on HSE initiatives
- Project management capability
- with experience in planning, executing, and delivering HSE programs or initiatives on time and within scope
