Job Summary

Conduct hazard assessments, inspections, and audits to identify unsafe conditions and verify corrective actions. Provide on-site guidance to operations teams on implementing HS&E programs, emergency response, and performance metrics. Mentor HSE Coordinators and Advisors while leading complex incident investigations to identify root causes and train staff on best practices. Assess the effectiveness of corrective actions from incidents and audits, analyzing safety data to recommend improvements. Support supervisors in managing occupational injuries and illnesses, including monitoring return-to-work processes. This hybrid role requires 50% to 75% travel across various Ledcor offices and project sites.

Required Qualifications

  • One or more years of practical experience as an HSE professional
  • Formal Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) education
  • Demonstrated intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to communicate persuasively and influence stakeholders across all levels of project hierarchy, fostering cooperation and compliance with HSE standards
  • Ability to pass all pre-access requirements including clean driver's abstract and drug screen and breathalyzer
  • Travel is required up to 50% - 75% between various Ledcor offices and project sites
  • All applicants must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
