Job Summary
Conduct safety observations, inspections, and audits across underground and surface areas to ensure compliance with site protocols and regulatory standards. Support supervisors in identifying and mitigating risks during daily operations while delivering site-specific safety orientations and facilitating toolbox talks for all personnel and contractors. Assist with underground mine rescue planning, drills, and equipment readiness, and participate actively in emergency response teams. Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis methods, track hazard reports for timely closeout, and maintain accurate safety documentation including permits and training records. Prepare daily and weekly safety reports for internal and client distribution.
Required Qualifications

- ability to assist with digital safety system inputs
- ability to liaise with regulatory inspectors
