Job Summary
Site-based HSE Advisor providing on-site HSE leadership and real-time support to project and services teams. Regular site travel within NSW with occasional travel to Victoria. Responsible for reviewing and auditing HSE plans, supporting incident investigation and corrective actions, developing project-specific HSE plans and risk registers, monitoring contractor HSE documentation, leading safety walks, maintaining HSE records, and coaching teams on legislation, compliance and best practice. Strong communications and stakeholder engagement skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems. Desirable qualifications include Lead Auditor credentials (ISO 9001, ISO 45001/AS 4801, ISO 14001).
Required Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- Minimum 4 years’ HSE experience
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS and Environmental legislation
- Experience in incident investigation and reporting
- Lead Auditor qualifications (ISO 9001, ISO 45001/AS 4801, ISO 14001) highly regarded
