Job Summary
Monitor HSE data analytics, manage employee and team compliance, and administer safety systems. Support the development of HSE programs and implementation plans while managing the internal safety audit program. Provide safety information to management, schedule activities by engaging with operations and support functions, and prepare reports for stakeholders. Develop service solutions and training packages, ensuring adherence to Australian HSE legislation. This role supports the development of HSE strategy and programs in collaboration with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement within the Projects Team at the Balcatta Support Centre.
Required Qualifications
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse data and regulatory changes to ensure compliance
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing HSE records, data policies, and procedures
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders internal and external
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and addressing HSE compliance related issues
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
- Solid understanding of Australian HSE legislation
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field
- Proven experience in safety standards and procedures, hazard identification, evaluation, and control
