Job Summary
Maintain HSE records, logs, and databases, including training records, incident reports, inspection checklists, safety data sheets, and permits. Manage contractor management platforms such as ISNetworld, Veriforce, PEC, and Avetta, while tracking required safety training and certifications to send renewal reminders. Schedule and document safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site inspections, and support incident and near-miss reporting with data entry and corrective action follow-up. Coordinate post-accident drug screen scheduling, assist with regulatory recordkeeping like OSHA 300 logs, and prepare materials for internal and external HSE audits. Prepare routine reports and metrics summaries for leadership and support new-hire onboarding documentation. This role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years of administrative experience in HSE or compliance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of administrative experience supporting an HSE, EHS, or compliance function
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment and interacting with field and shop personnel
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or relevant coursework in occupational health & safety
- Familiarity with OSHA recordkeeping requirements
- Experience with EHS software or database systems
