Job Summary
Create a stimulating classroom environment and prepare lessons accommodating individual student differences for assigned classes. Guide the learning process toward state and local curriculum goals by establishing clear objectives and employing varied instructional techniques. Encourage students to maintain standards of behavior while ensuring safety precautions for students, equipment, and facilities. Maintain accurate records as required by law and agency policy. Regular attendance is required.
Required Qualifications
- An associate, baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education
- An associate degree in a field related to early childhood education and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education with experience teaching preschool-age children
- A baccalaureate or advanced degree in any field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education with experience teaching preschool-age children
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Regular attendance
