Job Summary
Create a stimulating classroom environment and prepare lessons with accommodations for individual differences to ensure continuity during teacher absences. Guide the learning process toward state and local curriculum goals using varied instructional techniques while encouraging students to maintain high behavioral standards. Establish clear objectives for all lessons and projects, then maintain accurate records as required by law and agency policy. Take necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, and facilities. Regular attendance is required, and you must be CPR/First Aid certified.
Required Qualifications
- An associate, baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education
- An associate degree in a field related to early childhood education and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education with experience teaching preschool-age children
- A baccalaureate or advanced degree in any field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education with experience teaching preschool-age children
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Regular attendance
