Job Summary
Design and deliver high-quality, interactive Spanish lessons that integrate cultural components from various Spanish-speaking countries. Foster a vibrant, immersive learning environment by promoting communicative competence through speaking, reading, writing, and listening activities. Manage the classroom by establishing clear expectations, providing timely feedback, and offering differentiated support to diverse learners. Collaborate with fellow language teachers to align curriculum and share best practices while maintaining open communication with parents and administration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Spanish Education, Linguistics, or a related field
- Valid state teaching credential/license in World Languages (Spanish) for the appropriate grade level
- Near-native or native fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Prior experience teaching Spanish in a middle or high school setting
