Job Summary

Conduct routine classroom and site visits to assess compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, state licensing, and agency policies. Utilize monitoring tools to evaluate program quality, document findings, provide feedback to staff, and recommend corrective actions. Collect and analyze monitoring data to identify trends, generate reports, and track the impact of implemented improvements. Assist with preparation for external monitoring reviews and audits while providing training and coaching to teachers and site managers on compliance and data utilization.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Data Analytics, Social Services, Public Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood education, program compliance, quality monitoring, or data analysis within Head Start or a similar setting
  • Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and state childcare regulations
  • Strong observational and assessment skills
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, ChildPlus, or similar systems
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in database systems and Microsoft Office Applications
  • A valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance must be maintained
  • Must have reliable Wi-Fi access to support remote work as needed
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds
