HS Latin Teacher - Herron-Riverside HS

Teach Latin courses ranging from Latin 1 to AP Latin using a locally created curriculum and resources such as De Romanis and Latin for Americans. Collaborate with World Language teachers to develop curriculum and expand the program while attending professional development to refine instructional practices. Work with students during extra-curricular and club time throughout the year, meeting assigned classes at designated locations and times. Develop and maintain a classroom environment consistent with school core values, setting high standards for academic and behavioral expectations. Employ varied instructional techniques to differentiate instruction and meet diverse student needs, regularly evaluating progress to adjust teaching strategies. Participate in department meetings, faculty sessions, and evening events including parent conferences and orientation nights.
