Job Summary
On-site HS&E Advisor role focused on implementing and maintaining Ledcor’s Health and Safety programs on industrial turnaround projects. Responsibilities include conducting area inspections with field supervisors, coordinating safety equipment provision, advising on the Health and Safety Management System, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing and delivering site-specific safety meetings and toolbox talks, facilitating job hazard analyses and safe work practices, auditing field hazard assessments and incident investigations, and supporting site leadership with safety-related documentation and communication. Requires 5+ years in turnarounds/industrial maintenance, CRSP/NCSO or equivalent certification, strong communication and training skills, proactive safety mindset, and ability to travel to multiple project sites; valid driver’s license and potential pre-employment drug/alcohol requirements. Remote work not indicated; role is site-based with rotations determined per project needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of related work experience working on turnarounds and Industrial Maintenance projects
- CRSP, Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or NCSO designation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive safety approach with risk assessment and incident investigation experience
- Ability to work with hourly workforce and management
- Valid provincial driver’s license and driver’s abstract
- Fit testing certification would be an asset
- Willingness to travel to project sites
