Job Summary
Implement HSE strategy, annual plans, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Otara manufacturing site and Auckland office. Provide practical advice, coaching, and support to leaders and employees, including facilitating risk assessments and implementing effective controls. Support and improve the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) while ensuring compliance with legislative and business requirements. Facilitate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management. Coordinate workplace inspections, audits, monitoring, and assurance activities to drive compliance and performance. Partner with employees and leaders on injury management, recovery, and Return to Work plans. Lead HSE training, toolbox talks, meetings, worker participation, and consultation initiatives. Monitor HSE and environmental performance, identify trends, prepare reports, and support sustainability programmes.
Required Qualifications
- A qualification in Health, Safety & Environment
- significant work experience
- Proficient in the Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
