HS Assistant Boys Wrestling Coach

Coach individual participants in wrestling using appropriate strategies to improve athlete skill and activity standards. Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior by establishing written penalties for breaches and modeling control and dedication to the student body. Plan and schedule regular practice programs during the season while working with the activities director to coordinate interscholastic contests. Oversee safety conditions in the facility during student presence and enforce eligibility criteria for competition. Arrange transportation as needed and maintain attendance forms, insurance records, and end-of-year reports. Recommend equipment, supplies, and uniforms as appropriate. Assist each student in achieving high skill levels, appreciation for discipline and sportsmanship, and increased self-esteem.
