HS Assistant Boys Basketball Coach

Job Summary
Educate, train and assist student athletes as the HS Boys Basketball Coach. Responsibilities include planning and executing practices, supervising players and volunteers at games, practices, road trips and meetings; providing basic medical treatment and executing emergency plans for athletic facilities; attending athletic department coaches training; staying current with district and W.I.A.A rules; collaborating with the head coach and athletic director to align the athletic program with district philosophy; post-season equipment inventory and debriefing. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with students, faculty, parents, alums and administrators; model expected behavior; demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills; and undergo seasonal performance evaluations by the athletic director.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED certificate
- Prior coaching experience – preferred
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Possess a valid driver license
- Ability to communicate with staff and parents clearly and effectively
- Meet department and W.I.A.A coaching standards
