Job Summary
Responsible for carrying out facility payroll, human resources and benefits operations in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws. Includes employee relations, benefits, compensation, leave of absence, workers compensation, recruiting, prescreening, hiring, onboarding, new hire orientation, terminations, and unemployment claims; supports organizational goals with a focus on payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient HR processes. Requires proficiency with Excel and payroll systems (Paycom preferred), ability to handle confidential material, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to equitable employment practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years’ experience in skilled nursing or healthcare related field preferred
- Current knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll application systems; Paycom experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to deal with confidential material
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies and procedures fully and consistently
