Job Summary
Cardiology Technician II, part-time, responsible for coordinating and delivering 12-lead ECGs, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, and implantable cardiac device evaluations (pacemakers/defibrillators). Maintains accurate documentation, supports billing and coding for cardiac diagnostic services, assists with remote monitoring setup and education, and communicates clinically significant findings. Requires a minimum of two years of cardiology/cardiac diagnostics experience, proficiency in ECG interpretation, and BLS certification; strong communication, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- 2 or more years of cardiac experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation to various outreach clinics
- Proficiency in ECG interpretation and cardiac telemetry
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to troubleshoot cardiac devices and assist with remote monitoring scheduling and education
- Experience with billing and documentation related to ambulatory cardiac diagnostics
- Knowledge of MUSE and Murj systems (or equivalent) for charting and compliance
