Job Summary
HRIS & Payroll Assistant responsible for onboarding and all pre-employment verifications (including DL and background checks), processing payroll with timecards and commissions, data entry into payroll systems, assisting HR daily functions (benefits, disciplinary actions), and maintaining accurate employee records. Requires Excel & Word proficiency, prior onboarding and payroll/HR experience, strong attention to detail, good typing speed, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Microsoft Excel & Word experience is required
- Previous New Hire Onboarding experience is highly preferred
- Previous Payroll and HR experience is required
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records
- Ability to retain information
- Positive attitude and team focused demeanor
- Proficient typing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
