Job Summary

Lead the HRIS team and technical leadership for Nordson's global HR technology ecosystem, ensuring architecture, solution design, and security align with business objectives. Provide technical oversight for Workday, UKG, and Dayforce platforms, managing integrations, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities. Drive the delivery, support, and optimization of HR technology solutions while partnering with HR and Enterprise Technology teams to support digital transformation. Manage vendor relationships, budget planning, and project delivery across Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Establish governance standards, adoption strategies, and best practices for the HR technology landscape. Lead a high-performing team through mentoring, coaching, and performance management. This role supports Nordson's mission to engineer innovative precision solutions across 35 countries, requiring 7+ years of HRIS experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources Information Systems, Business Systems, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience supporting, implementing, or managing HRIS platforms and enterprise applications
  • Strong experience with Workday and related HR technologies supporting functions such as Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning, and Time & Attendance
  • Experience leading HR technology implementations, integrations, system upgrades, and enhancement initiatives
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes, solution delivery, and business process analysis
  • Experience with workflow automation, AI-enabled capabilities, or process improvement initiatives
  • Experience managing vendors and third-party technology service providers
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Experience managing departmental priorities, budgets, and resource planning
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Must be able to travel minimal estimated 25%

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior people leadership experience managing professional employees and/or technical analysts
  • Workday certifications or equivalent HR technology certifications
  • Experience supporting global HR organizations and multi-country operations
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, reporting, data governance, and security practices
  • Experience with HR system integrations, analytics, and reporting solutions
  • Strong HR technology leadership and business partnership capabilities
  • Ability to align technology solutions with business objectives and operational priorities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Ability to build effective relationships with HR leaders, business stakeholders, vendors, and IT partners
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience driving process improvements that enhance employee experience, data quality, operational efficiency, and technology adoption
  • Ability to lead organizational change and technology transformation initiatives
