HRIS & Benefits Senior Specialist

Job Summary
Oversee UKG Ready and ATS systems as the primary administrator and subject matter expert, managing configuration, security, data integrity, and upgrades. Manage HRIS reporting, integrations, and audits while partnering with IT and stakeholders to ensure seamless connections with payroll, benefits, and other platforms. Own end-to-end HR system processes, including employee lifecycle workflows, open enrollment builds, and self-service adoption, while developing user training and documentation. Administer health, welfare, and wellness programs, overseeing vendor relationships, plan design, and cost management. Lead annual open enrollment and serve as the primary resource for benefits-related questions. Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, and disability, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements. Cultivate strong relationships with the payroll team to ensure timely processing and administer pay increases. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with company values and organizational needs. Monitor employment laws and regulations, proactively updating practices to maintain compliance and serve as a resource for policy questions.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Demonstrated ownership of HRIS administration
- Demonstrated ownership of benefits administration
- Demonstrated ownership of leave of absence programs
- Strong proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (e.g., PPT, Excel, Teams)
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, ACA, ERISA, and applicable state leave requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build reports, audit data, identify discrepancies, and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented, empathetic approach
- Ability to build trust and effectively partner with employees and leaders at all levels
- 100% in office location
- Not a remote position
Desired Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
- UKG Ready experience
